Renewables

This term defines energy sources that are constantly renewed or replenished and hence are permanently available. Renewables include sunlight, wind, hydropower, biomass, geothermal heat, and waste. Renewables are carbon neutral. However, even with renewable energy sources, sustainable use is only assured if the consumption rate does not exceed the renewal rate.
