Warm building
Purpose
To test the technology for economic and technical feasibility for implementation throughout the city.
About the Project
Warm building is a method that utilizes residual heat. The technology maintains the temperature of the outer shell of the house, resulting in little or no heating or cooling required. Heat is stored in small tubes and retained through insulation materials in the walls. The technique is easy to install: the insulation material combined with the pipes is only a few centimeters thick and is easy to incorporate into an already built home.
Results
